Sarah came to study Acupuncture and Tui Na massage after spending many years as a video producer in the film and video industry in London and internationally. After a long stretch of overworking and long haul travel Sarah found her immune system had taken a huge dip and sought to find some help.
'I was literally at the end of my tether, I had suffered with a sore throat every day for over 2 month,s and even though I was going to bed really early at night, I was still waking up in the morning feeling exhausted.'
One of her dear friends recommended an Acupuncturist and after that Sarah knew she had found something that, not only could help her, but wanting a change in lifestyle and career had found a path she wanted to explore further.
'I had always been interested in herbs, and flowers and the power of natural things to heal, and after receiving Acupuncture it proved time and time again to be a really effective healing system for me.'
Sarah was accepted at the London College of Acupuncture but decided to study nearer to her family, she then found Maria Mercati's school Body Harmonics in Cheltenham and studied Tui Na, (the chinese medical form of massage) to Master Practitioner level, as well as a Sports therapy massage diploma and followed that by studying to become a fully licenced Acupuncturist. Sarah qualified in 2007 & 2010 respectively and currently practices in Gloucestershire and London.
